Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Evening Supervisor (LPN) for a 3pm–11pm Monday–Friday shift. The role ensures safe nursing care, guides clinical operations, and liaises with the DON and unit managers while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.

The position offers variable compensation, benefit options, and a pathway for professional growth within our long-term care network. State licensure and BLS/CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical operations and care delivery on a designated shift.
• Collaborates with the DON to ensure adequate nursing coverage 24/7.
• Participates in interviews for nursing vacancies and assesses staff performance.
• Identifies educational needs and communicates them to the Nurse Practice Educator.
• Ensures assignments match staff competencies and patient needs.
