Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the State or NLNAC accrediting commission.
• Full, active, current, and unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in the United States.
• Proficiency in English as required by the VA.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition, elimination and hygiene care for patients.
• Assists with movement and mobility, including turning, lifting and transferring patients.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Provides patient and family teaching and documentation of care and medications.

Education

Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the State agency and/or NLNAC accrediting commission
