Job summary

The Dayton VAMC is recruiting an LPN/LVN for CLC - Heroes Point. The primary purpose is to perform assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care - positive customer service and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran.

The successful candidate will provide nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, document care, and collaborate with the care team to support veterans’ health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved practical or vocational nursing program.
• Full active, current, unrestricted licensure as a LPN/LVN in the United States.
• English language proficiency as required by VA.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients in the CLC Heroes Point.
• Assist with daily living activities and patient transport as needed.
• Document care and participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and promote positive customer service.
