Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for Community Living Centers serving veterans in a 24/7 long-term care environment. Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; English proficiency mandated.
• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the State and accredited by NLNAC/board.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as LPN/LVN in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction.
• GS grade progression from 3 to 6 based on experience and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and monitors patient responses.
