Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time evening shift at Wright County Jail in Minnesota. The role supports nursing care under RN supervision, medication administration, and patient education in a corrections setting.

Responsibilities include assisting in procedures, ensuring safety, and participating in team trainings. Prior clinic experience and active LPN licensure with CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of one year clinic experience preferred.
• Have and maintain current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assess patients, assist with treatment plans, and provide education as directed.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy where certified, and perform routine nursing procedures.
• Contribute to safety through standard precautions and participation in shift change counts and codes.
• Assist in minor procedures and document nursing encounters using SOAP notes.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings to maintain high-quality patient care.
