Good Samaritan - Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for evening shifts (2:00pm–10:30pm). The role requires MN LPN licensure and prior practical nursing education, with a 48-hour biweekly pay period and weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and be licensed as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• IV therapy/management skills requirements as applicable by state board.
• Pre-licensure program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents under RN or physician supervision.
• Assist with assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Maintain confidentiality and engage in an interdisciplinary care approach.

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
