Job summary

The Village at White River Junction, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team. This full-time role covers day and evening shifts in a warm, home-like environment where residents receive attentive nursing care.

Responsibilities include assessing resident status, coordinating care, supervising aides, and responding to emergencies. LPN licensure and CPR required; prior elder-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience; elder care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the care team.
• Directs and supervises the daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses the personal emergency response system.
