Job summary

The Renaissance Seattle Hotel is seeking a Bartender to provide energetic and professional evening bar service. You will craft beverages accurately, engage guests, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include proper liquor control, cash handling, and teamwork to ensure smooth service, with shifts typically 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and flexibility based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience required.
• WA Food Worker Card or ability to obtain within 14 days.
• MAST permit or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide attentive guest service and promote sales.
• Maintain liquor handling and inventory practices, including par checks.
• Accurately handle cash and payment transactions, including bank and drops.
• Support overall service by assisting team members and prep for other outlets.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and complete opening/closing duties.
• Follow responsible alcohol service practices and hotel policies.
