Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Supervisor for Lot Operations working an evening shift at a Cox location. The role oversees multiple operational areas within the Auction, including lot operations and shop support, ensuring safe and efficient vehicle movement and daily productivity.

Travel is minimal (5%), with potential incentive opportunities. The position emphasizes leadership for safety and environmental activities on the lot, coordinating with Auction staff to maintain safe working

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 5 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree with up to 2 years relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of multiple operational areas, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to established quality and service standards.
• Supervise, coach, and provide daily direction to employees, including assigning work, monitoring progress, and addressing operational needs.
• Manage counseling and disciplining employees as necessary, monitoring and evaluating.
• Direct lot operations to ensure vehicles are properly staged, organized, and moved safely and efficiently throughout the lot and sale lanes.
• Assist the Mechanic Shop Manager with daily shop operations, including coordinating workload and supporting employees in meeting production and quality expectations.
• Monitor process and work with production employees to ensure SOP is being adhered to.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow, organization, safety, and overall productivity.
• Help ensure staffing and resources are effectively utilized to meet daily operational requirements.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with management and employees regarding operational priorities, safety concerns, and changing business needs.
