Job summary

CEVA Logistics, a global contract logistics leader, is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee floor operations and ensure efficient coordination of activities. You will lead staff, plan daily work, and drive quality and safety standards on site in Coppell, TX.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification. The position emphasizes customer service, problem solving, and effective communication with operations management.

Qualifications

• Minimum - High School Diploma or GED and four years related experience; minimum one year supervisory experience; proven knowledge and experience in warehouse operations; valid state issued driver’s license; Forklift Driver Certification.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline; three years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices and instructions from customers.
• Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources.
• Assign duties appropriate to warehouse staff.
• Train new staff in assigned duties, and quality management activities or delegates training responsibilities to experienced specialist.
• Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess group’s overall status.
• Provide responsible supervision and control for all department activities.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within the department and address all employee performance problems promptly.
