Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Supervisor in Columbus, OH to lead daily logistics operations and drive safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The role involves coaching teams, planning processes with the Logistics Manager, and ensuring adherence to company standards. The ideal candidate will have 0–1 year of supervisory experience and at least 1 year in transportation, warehousing, or distribution, with strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI, collaborating with the customer on all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, coach, and recognize performance.
