Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Columbus, OH is seeking a physically capable warehouse associate to operate equipment safely while moving packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs or ladders as needed, in all weather.

You will support pallet buildup/breakdown and coordinate with the ULD repair vendor when required. This position is full-time on a shift with a drug screen and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend and squat for extended periods.
• Must communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently for moving packages and heavy freight.
• Assist in buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx Logistics and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
