Momentum Transportation USA, an award-winning Landstar Agent, is seeking an Operations Specialist to drive day-to-day transportation activities for our customer, building profitable carrier and driver relationships. You will adapt to changing customer needs and report to the Operations Manager.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3pm–12am, with extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end cycles to meet customer demands.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BA/BS in Logistics or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in transportation/logistics environment is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Schedule and dispatch trucks to meet customer demands accurately.
• Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery with Track & Trace updates.
• Negotiate with providers for best rates and service.
• Maintain carrier relationships to ensure capacity and service standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, carriers and team members.
• Update transportation management and operation systems.
• Prioritize tasks to impact quality and service performance.
• Engage customers to increase satisfaction and business share.
• Resolve complex issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Utilize company systems and references to process client shipments.
• Work extended hours at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end as needed.
• Maintain professional behavior and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
