Job summary

RXO is seeking a Logistics Specialist to provide logistics support including order entry, routing, and dispatching. In this role, you will maintain customer information, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely communications with drivers. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, knowledge of the transportation industry, and experience in report writing.

This position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule and extensive benefits, including medical plans, a 401(k) with company match, and career development programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify status.
• Take check calls from drivers and validate load data.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, and damages.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments.
• Provide detailed routing instructions to drivers.

Skills

Knowledge of the transportation industry

Ability to apply common sense understanding
