Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Laundry Aide to support a nursing home by performing a variety of laundry and housekeeping tasks. You will ensure a steady supply of clean linen, label clothing, and handle washing, drying and folding with attention to sanitary standards.

The role requires basic math, reading directions, and problem-solving abilities. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds and working with industrial washers/dryers in a low-to-moderate noise environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required or preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/understand directions.
• Ability to problem solve and seek assistance when needed.
• 1 year of experience in laundry/housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens for residents.
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and label items as needed.
• Deliver clean items to resident rooms and follow sanitary procedures.
