PACS Group is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform general laundry and housekeeping tasks in a nursing home setting. You will ensure a steady supply of clean linens, sort and treat items, and deliver laundry to resident rooms while maintaining sanitary practices.

The role emphasizes basic math, reading directions, and the ability to problem solve. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent use of washers and dryers, in a low to moderate noise environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: GED or High School Diploma; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand directions related to laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to problem solve when needed.

Responsibilities

• Make available a quantity of clean linen for proper care and comfort of all residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove from service any linen with holes or stains.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed, sort, wash, dry and fold.
