Clarendale West End is hiring a hospitality focused Cook to join our team in Nashville. This role handles full-scope, hands-on production cooking in Community Culinary Services, ensuring high-quality service and strict cleanliness standards.

The position offers full-time or part-time schedules with weekend work as needed. Salary ranges from $21 to $23 per hour, with comprehensive benefits available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.
• Experience in food safety and sanitation practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and organization per Community standards.
• Maintain quality, appearance and presentation of prepared dishes.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional criteria and diets.
• Demonstrate speed, accuracy and efficiency in cooking.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed.
• Visit residents to evaluate food service quality, quantity and temperature.
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner to support marketing.
• Support revenue and occupancy goals through engaged, quality service.
