Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Virginia Beach is seeking a dynamic PM Line Cook to join our team. This role emphasizes high sanitation, proper storage, and timely preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items with quality and speed.

You will work with our culinary team to create specials, follow recipes, and ensure safe handling of all food. A minimum of a high school education and prior kitchen experience are required; the position is tipped eligible with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
• Ensures organized and clean storage areas for all food.
• Properly rotates inventory and stores items after shift.
• Prepares food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets.
• Works with manager to create specials and menu variations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
