Job summary

LOVECRAFT BEER SHOP AND ALE HOUSE in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Line Cook to join the busy kitchen during peak season. You will send out dishes in a timely, coordinated manner and take pride in plating and executing.

The ideal candidate has kitchen experience and enjoys a fun work environment, delivering an excellent dining experience for patrons. We cook from scratch and pride ourselves on New Mexican-inspired cuisine with Texas-style smoked meats.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification is required or preferred depending on role.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Take pride in plating and executing
• Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
• Follow all food safety regulations
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Participate in the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities for a safe and sanitary kitchen
• Performs other duties as assigned by the kitchen management
