The Loyola Notre Dame Library’s Access Services Department seeks an Evening Student Supervisor - Alternate for the Spring 2027 semester, with potential renewal for 2027-2028. The Alternate will cover shifts when regular Evening Student Supervisors are not available, manage the Help Desk, supervise student workers, and provide high-quality customer service.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Loyola University Maryland or Notre Dame of Maryland University.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with email, browsers, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adapt to changes in policies, procedures, and technology.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises library operations during assigned evening shifts.
• Supervises student workers.
• Provides courteous assistance to users in person, by phone, and via email.
• Uses the library system (Alma) to check out, check in, place holds on materials for students and faculty.
• Troubleshoots minor building technology issues; refers copier/printer issues as needed.
• Completes data collection to document workflow as directed.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
