Job summary

PL Developments, a leading producer of OTC pharmaceutical products, seeks a Lead Floor Material Handler to coordinate daily material flow and provide hands‑on guidance to a team of Material Handlers. You will ensure raw materials and components are ready for production, and that finished goods are staged and shipped accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse or material handling experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead daily work activities and train peers in a hands‑on role.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification).
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management and all levels of the company.
• Comfortable using inventory systems (Oracle/WMS or similar) and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily work activities of Floor Material Handlers and provide on‑the‑job training to ensure safe, efficient material flow.
• Operate sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment per safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Receive, unload, stage, and load raw materials, components, and finished goods for production and shipment.
