Job summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Fairborn, OH is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the second shift to maintain clean linens and resident clothing to support a safe, comfortable environment.

You will collect, wash, dry, and fold linens, operate commercial laundry equipment, and follow infection control procedures while maintaining a tidy laundry area and reporting supply needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold facility linens and residents’ personal laundry
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling and labeling of residents’ clothing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor
• Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry throughout the facility
