Job summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Fairborn, OH is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the second shift to ensure timely and accurate laundering of linens and residents’ clothing.

You will collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, operate commercial machines, and maintain a clean, organized laundry area while following infection control protocols. Growth opportunities exist within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and residents' laundry.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Label and handle residents' clothing correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor.
• Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry.
