Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle residents' personal belongings with care and respect.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and personal clothing for residents.
• Follow proper washing techniques for fabrics and sanitize items.
• Operate washers, dryers, and irons; report issues to supervisor.
• Label and sort items to ensure correct delivery to residents.
• Inspect items for wear, damage, and cleanliness; adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Maintain a clean laundry area and proper equipment maintenance.
