Job summary

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Fairborn, OH is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the second shift to ensure timely and accurate laundering of linens and residents’ clothing.

You will collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, operate commercial machines, and maintain a clean, organized laundry area while following infection control protocols. Growth opportunities exist within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team for second shift. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents by ensuring timely and accurate laundering of linens and personal clothing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold facility linens and residents’ personal laundry

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure proper handling and labeling of residents’ clothing

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor

• Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry throughout the facility

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus, but not required

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
