Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Laundry Aide for the second shift to maintain clean linens and personal clothing for residents.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. Training on infection control and safety is provided, with opportunities for advancement within the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Healthcare laundry experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold facility linens and residents’ personal laundry.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper handling and labeling of residents’ clothing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues or supply needs to supervisor.
• Assist with delivery and distribution of clean laundry throughout the facility.
