Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Trial Solutions in Norwood, MA seeks a Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, handling specimen management, pipetting, instrument operation, data entry, and storage with high proficiency.

You will follow SOPs, maintain equipment and work areas, and support calibration, data entry into LIMS, and collaboration with lab staff to meet timelines while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Science or related field with specified biology/chemistry hours.
• Experience with data entry and information systems is preferred.
• Ability to perform aseptic techniques and work with potentially infectious materials is preferred.
• Proficiency with PC-based software and ability to read SOPs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses under supervision with high proficiency.
• Handle specimen management, pipetting, instrument operation and maintenance.
• Enter data into LIMS and ensure accurate specimen storage.
• Adhere to SOPs and safety standards and assist with calibration tasks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and communicate with lab team to meet timelines.
