Job summary

Eurofins US Food, Feed, & Supplement Testing is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Entry Technician to support sample handling across prep, lab and microbiology workflows. You will help move and track samples, ensure barcodes match locations and follow GMP/GLP requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced enviroment.
• Ability to walk/stand the majority of the day.
• Ability to identify and communicate customer service needs.
• Strong communicator.
• Ability to learn new tasks.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Move samples on a regular basis to the assigned location between Sample Prep, Lab and Microbiology.
• Monitor sample location bins in various lab areas and sample prep.
• Proactively communicates any issues and concerns about sample movements to the supervisor or lab leaders.
• Ensuring every barcode is scanned and the sample has the correct location assigned.
• Occasionally work in sample disposal area.
• Communicates discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
