Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Trial Solutions in Norwood, MA is seeking a Laboratory Technician who performs tests and analyses under supervision, manages specimens, and follows SOPs to ensure accuracy and safety. You will operate and maintain instruments, enter data into LIMS, assist with calibration, and support the lab team to meet processing timelines while upholding regulatory quality.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Science.
• OR BS/BA in related field with 16 hours Biology, 16 hours Chemistry and 3 hours Math.
• Minimum 1 year data entry experience preferred.
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with infectious materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine samples for validity and other requirements (sample type, volume, etc.).
• Perform sample preparation steps including specimen pipetting with accuracy and precision.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment per SOPs to ensure quality results.
• Perform reagents and materials preparation for testing.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, reagents and materials needed for testing.
• Document remedial action, troubleshooting and quality assurance activities.
• Adhere to established processing timelines.
• Enter data into LIMS.
• Label samples and deliver to proper areas.
• Retrieve and re-file samples for testing.
• Store specimens for short and long term storage.
• Assist with cleaning duties.
• Adhere to quality, safety and regulatory standards.
