Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Phlebotomist on a split shift at Good Samaritan Lab in Cincinnati, OH. You will collect quality specimens from diverse patients, support diagnostic testing, and act as a liaison between the laboratory and customers.

You may assist with order entry, compliance documentation, and ensure smooth specimen processing. The role emphasizes accuracy, patient service, and adherence to CLIA, TJC, and CAP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 1 - 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy Trained Upon Hire (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure specimen integrity by obtaining patient identification, accurate data, collection and specimen collection
• Documents all information as required in expected timeframes
• Understands the importance of accuracy in all steps of the collection process and completes all work accurately and timely.
• Takes on complex tasks when asked and takes initiative to take on tasks when need arises.
• Completes work following processes and protocols for safety, confidentiality, and sample integrity
