Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician in Naperville, IL, to perform hands-on bench analysis and prepare accurate reports. You will help maintain and calibrate equipment, follow safety practices, and prepare chemical solutions per standard formulas while working in a small team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related science field, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced lab environment on a 2:30–11:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related science fields.
• Proficiency in chemistry, laboratory techniques, quality control, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on laboratory analysis.
• Complete all laboratory reports accurately and promptly.
• Stay current with laboratory analysis methods.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to all laboratory safety and reporting techniques.
• Follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
