Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Anderson, IN is seeking a Lab Support Technician. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM with rotational weekends.

The role includes processing specimens, labeling, testing support, and clerical duties under supervision. Compensation starts at a pay range of $17.20+ per hour with potential shift differentials of 10% for some second-shift hours and 15% for some third-shift hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Complies with OSHA, MACL policies and procedures as a condition of employment.
• Handles specimen collection and processing requirements to prevent loss or compromise of specimens.
• Performs labeling, processing, storage and documentation to facilitate testing.
• Operates computer systems in the department and maintains QC records.
• Assists with training of new associates and inventory management.
