Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Lab Support Technician to join a Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM shift with rotational weekends. The role includes order entry, processing, testing and reporting of waived and moderately complex kit results, under CLIA guidelines.

The position offers a base pay of $17.20+ per hour with 10% shift differential on some second shifts and 15% on some third shifts, plus benefits and potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year experience in a hospital or laboratory setting.
• Routinely lift 25 pounds, sitting, standing for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• The Support Technician performs various technical and clerical functions under supervision, including order entry, processing, testing and reporting of waived and moderately complex kit results.
• Complies with OSHA and MACL policies, maintains ethical standards and professionalism.
• Performs and documents QC, maintains equipment and supplies, and assists with training and competency evaluations.
