Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our Baltimore, MD team. The role supports high-throughput accessioning, sorting and data entry in a fast-paced laboratory with standard operating procedures.

You will prepare specimens, label, route, and ship samples, meet production goals, and participate in a collaborative environment. Requires basic lab exposure and accurate data entry; pay range is $17.75-$24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more experience in a lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
