Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our Sunrise, FL team. The role involves preparing specimens for analysis, routing them to staging areas, and ensuring accurate labeling and data entry for testing workflows. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma.

Preferred one year in lab/accessioning or warehouse settings with strong data entry and organizational skills. The position supports a standard evening schedule and requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and pass color

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 1+ years in a lab/accessioning or production environment.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Resolve and document any problematic specimens.
