Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our McKees Rocks, PA team. The role involves preparing specimens, labeling, routing, and data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a high school diploma; prefer 1 year lab/warehouse experience; ability to lift 40 lbs and pass color vision test. Schedule is Monday-Friday 4:00pm–12:30am with rotating Saturdays. Labcorp offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and pass a color blindness test.
• Experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse is preferred.
• Strong data entry and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Resolve and document any problem specimens
