Responsibilities include coordinating with care units, notifying of redraws, maintaining logs, and providing timely results to physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with coursework in Biology and Chemistry.
• One year of related experience or on-the-job training.
• Strong communication and clerical skills to track and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and prepare for pre-analytical processing and labeling.
• Maintain logs and necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with units and physicians to clarify tests and prioritize orders.
• Answer central laboratory questions and relay test results.
• Ensure confidentiality and follow safety and infection control policies.
• Record test requests and results in LIS/HIS systems.
