Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology in Smyrna, GA is hiring a full-time Lab Assistant 1 to join SkinPath Solutions. The team focuses on diagnosing skin, hair, and nail disorders with clinical correlation to ensure accurate results. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Primary duties include entering patients into the lab system, assigning case numbers, managing records, QC processes, and coordinating supplies. An AS in biology/chemistry or related science is required, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.S.) in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field (required).
• The ability to stand for the duration of the 8 hour shift.
• The ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Lab experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keying patients into the lab system.
• Assigning case numbers to specimens, slides, and cassettes.
• Pulling and filing patient records for doctors, client services and lab.
• Matching up patient records & QC patient records.
• Changing solutions in processors and stainers.
• Filling client supply orders and putting up supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
