Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, New Jersey, is hiring with an evening full-time shift for kitchen/utility roles. Compensation ranges from $16.25 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits and growth opportunities as part of a supportive senior-living community.

Responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting with inventory and stocking, and working safely with PPE. Weekend and holiday availability are required; physical work includes lifting up to 25 pounds

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and schedules.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking.
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).
