Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a kitchen/dining team member for Lantern Hill in New Providence, NJ. The role focuses on keeping the kitchen and dining areas well-organized, safe, and clean, while supporting inventory and storage functions.

Candidates with prior kitchen or service experience are preferred, and the role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Evening shifts end by 9 PM, with opportunities for growth within the community.

Location: Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living

Compensation: Between $16.25 - $19.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Full Time Evening Shift (out by 9PM!) With Weekends& Holiday Availability

What you will make an impact

• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking.
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE).

What you will need

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and schedules.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.
