Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a kitchen/utility teammate for full-time evening shifts to help keep the kitchen, dining, and storage areas organized and clean.

You will support inventory, receiving, stock, and follow safety rules; lifting up to 25 pounds and able to work weekends/holidays. Lantern Hill is a continuing care retirement community in New Providence, NJ, offering growth opportunities, competitive benefits, and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow written instructions and schedules.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional organization and cleanliness for kitchen, dining and storage areas, equipment, and food preparation areas
• Support stock/utility team members with inventory, receiving, verification, stocking, and tracking
• Work safely using designated safety equipment, including PPE

Join our team of utility workers and dishwashers to keep our kitchen running seamlessly. Your efforts will enhance efficiency and elevate our culinary creations, making you a vital member of our dynamic crew.

• Compensation: Between $16.25 - $19.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Full Time Evening Shift (out by 9PM!)
