Job summary

Terra Kitchen is seeking a part-time Kitchen Cook for evening shifts (Tue-Sat) with an hourly wage of $20 to $22. The role focuses on food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean, organized work area within a busy kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have strong guest service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with POS, PMS, and CRM systems. Benefits include health insurance options, 401k matching, and travel perks.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
• Ability to learn, understand, and use POS, PMS, CRM and other hospitality software.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints.
• Prepare ingredients and assist cooking; plate dishes.
• Keep kitchen clean and organized; maintain equipment.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure on-time orders.
• Follow safety, sanitation and food safety standards.
• Report accidents to F&B Manager or Executive Chef.
