Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep within a building or multiple client sites. The position is part-time with evening shifts, paying $17 per hour and offering weekly pay.

Flexibility to adapt to client specifications and duties is required, with on-the-job training provided. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom and common area cleaning, trash disposal, window and carpet maintenance, and adherence to the established housekeeping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
