Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or on multiple client sites. Flexibility is required as tasks vary by client specifications.

The role is part-time, evenings, Monday through Friday, at $19 per hour with weekly pay. The position supports cleaning of floors, restrooms, common areas, and other duties as assigned to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and manage waste as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet maintenance.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedules and safety guidelines.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client/site needs.
