Job summary

Clearview Outpatient LLC in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Experienced Therapist I for part-time duties at an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization facility. You will conduct individual, group and family therapy sessions, assess needs, and coordinate care with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology; licensure LMFT, LPC, LCSW or AMFT, APCC, ASW; must be in good standing in CA; minimum 2 years’ experience with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.
• A valid Driver's license and generally clean driving record required; may be asked to drive personal or company vehicles.
• Livescan fingerprint checks; certain exemptions may apply under state licensing rules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group, family and individual therapy sessions per clinical program schedule.
• Completes psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, discharge plans, and reports per state and payor guidelines; ensures timely documentation.
• Facilitates specialized groups and may supervise or co-lead groups with clinical interns.
• Selects interventions to meet client needs and maintains therapeutic relationships.
• Sets boundaries clearly and compassionately; conducts crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care from admission through discharge.
• Participates in meetings and communicates client progress to referral sources, families and guardians.
