Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Instrument Technician to coordinate decontamination and sterile processing in the operating room. You will work with OR personnel to ensure timely, safe preparation of instruments and supplies, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires coordinating instrument sets, maintaining records, and providing excellent service to internal customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Certification (CRCST or CBSPD) preferred or required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate decontamination and sterile processing of all instrumentation and non-sterile supplies in the operating room setting.
• Work with other Operating Room personnel in a team-focused, effective and efficient manner.
• Care and maintenance of all instrumentation.
• Demonstrate effective customer service toward co-workers, physicians and vendors; maintain confidentiality.
