Job summary

Challenge Unlimited, based in Charleston, SC, seeks a Supervisor Commissary to oversee shelf stocking, janitorial duties, and safety at the JBC Commissary within the Charleston Naval Base. You will lead a team, ensure contract adherence, and provide ongoing training and feedback to workers with a focus on outcomes and culture.

The role requires 1+ year supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail/grocery/convenience store experience and at least 1 year in a supervisory or training role.
• Solid oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site workers and clients in shelf stocking and janitorial tasks.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and timekeeping with focus on safety and company culture.
• Perform quality inspections and report deficits to Project Manager.
• Develop and deliver training and feedback to crew members to enhance skills and independence.
• Manage compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and customer satisfaction.
