Job summary

UPS is hiring a supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups to meet safety, production and attendance goals. This role sets high standards for productivity, accuracy, service, organization, communication and safety. It creates strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

Monday to Friday, hours 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with responsibilities to lead, coach, and drive continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance with policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs / 32 kg.
• Able to work flexible shifts up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety policies and OSHA requirements are followed at all times.
• Manages resources for maximum output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment and pro-active communication.
• Implements employee development plans for growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, and ongoing coaching for staff.
• Monitors compliance with safety policies at all times.
