James Madison University is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader for the Evening Shift. The role leads a small team, plans daily cleaning tasks, and ensures safety procedures are followed. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. schedule and overtime as needed for events.

Qualificações

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience performing a variety of housekeeping tasks.
• Able to handle industrial-strength chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to lead a small crew and manage time to meet schedule.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and basic customer service.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership to a small group of housekeepers during daily activities and when performing cleaning projects.
• Prepare work orders and requisitions for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform regular and special cleaning of assigned areas.
• Follow university safety procedures and participate in the university’s trash/recycling program.
