Job summary

Great Performances is seeking a proactive Host for Dizzy's Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York. You will be one of the first and last contacts for guests, managing reservations, greeting guests, and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth, memorable experience.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of guest-facing hospitality experience, strong restaurant etiquette, and excellent communication. Schedule includes evenings and weekends with on-site work.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of guest-facing hospitality experience preferred, in high-volume NYC venues.
• Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and guest service standards.
• Experience managing reservations, waitlists, seating, and guest flow.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide a courteous farewell.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, seating assignments, and guest flow.
• Answer inquiries by phone, assist with reservations, and document messages.
• Support front-of-house operations and coat check as needed.
